What to Bring

Gather these before your appointment and your return goes a lot faster. Don’t have something on the list? Bring what you have — we’ll go from there.

Photo ID & Social Security cardsFor you, your spouse, and your dependents.
W-2s from every employerOne for each job you held during the year.
1099 forms1099-NEC, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1099-DIV, 1099-R, SSA-1099, and any others you received.
Last year’s tax returnEspecially if you’re a new client.
1098 & property tax recordsMortgage interest statements and property tax receipts.
Childcare informationProvider name, address, tax ID, and the total amount you paid.
Business income & expensesIf you’re self-employed, bring your income and expense records.
IRS or state lettersAny notices or letters you received during the year.
